AUTHORS

Mark PowellDr Mark Powell Mark Powell is a Partner at global consulting firm A.T. Kearney and Associate Fellow at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School, where he has spent 10 years directing leadership programmes. He lectures on subjects including strategy development, leadership, power and influence, and strategic relationship building. Mark read Economics and Management and gained a PhD in Organizational Behaviour both from the University of Cambridge. He started his career with Scientific Generics, a technology consulting company, followed by Powergen (now Eon) and moved into consultancy, spending nine years with Accenture. Mark ran several start-up businesses and has held Partner roles in KPMG, Aon and Fujitsu. He combines consultancy with leadership development, teaching and writing, and is one of the first UK Gurus of the Futureworld Organization (www.futureworld.org).

Jonathan GiffordJonathan Gifford Jonathan Gifford is a business author whose writing focuses on the human aspects of business and leadership. He spent the early part of his career with UK national newspapers and BBC Magazines where he was launch publisher of the award-winning BBC History Magazine. He is a partner of the digital advertising agency, Bluequest, and lectures in marketing at the European Communication School.
