UK launch of The Wanda Way at the British Museum

On 22nd February, LID were proud to host the hugely popular and successful UK launch of Wang Jianlin's The Wanda Way at the British Museum.

Chairman Wang, head of the Dalian Wanda Group, the largest private property company in China, is the richest man in Asia. His book focuses on his managerial style, along with some history of both his business and personal life.

People from all around the country, and globe, had eagerly anticipated the event, which saw more than 200 guests in attendance.

Mr Wang spoke with UK secretary for culture John Whittingdale about Britain’s future dealings with China and his already hugely successful book, which has been reprinted in China 15 times.

LID would like to thank all guests who attended and who ensured the success of one of our biggest launches to date. An exclusive video of the event will be released shortly to newsletter subscribers.

LID Mexico saw the launch of The Carrot is the Least of it by David Montalvo. This book, full of entertaining prose, helps readers to learn how to manage crises and conduct an emotional detox, similar to a physical detox, to remove toxins from the body and life. It also provides key answers to problems caused by a toxic emotional climate, which creates anxiety. The guests enjoyed a cocktail party where they had the opportunity to talk to the author and request signed copies from him.
