Business Mum: The official London book launch
On Thursday 29 November, LID Publishing held the official book launch for Business Mumby Christine Gouchault.
The launch was held at WeWorkâ€™s newest office space at 8 Devonshire Square, attended by aspiring entrepreneurs, book lovers, and Christineâ€™s friends and family.
The evening began with guests mingling and networking as they enjoyed refreshments catered by Salad Days.
Martin Liu (General Manager of LID) introduced and congratulated Christine on the launch of her book before kicking off the event.
Joining the event was Mary Finnigan, Head of Transactions for WeWork, who interviewed Christine on balancing work and family life, the importance of building relationships with your customer, and how your weaknesses can sometimes be your greatest strength: â€śYou need to have a good sense of self-awareness. But you also need to know when to ask for help.”
The audience engaged in a Q&A session post-interview for advice on getting your business noticed, business struggles, and getting started.

More about Christine Gouchault
Â Christine Gouchalt is a mother of four and a business owner. With her company, Mors Business, she has created a community for self-employed women in Denmark with more than 400 members. Through counseling, workshops, and lectures, she helps newly started businesses find their place in the market.
Christine previously had her own recruitment agency in Paris and has 13 years of experience within human resources, sales, and marketing. She holds a masterâ€™s degree in communication and advertisement from INSEEC Paris. In addition to this, she is a certified master, business and life coach, and volunteers as a mentor to the entrepreneur students at Copenhagen Business School.
