22 July 2020, London: LID Business Media is excited to announce the recent signing of a new author – Arnt Eriksen.
Eriksen is one of Europe’s leading practitioners and thinkers in marketing and advertising, with an extensive agency and corporate career. His new book, The Brand You Economics, will be an important study of the factors that influence the performance of a brand to enable you to calculate, with a high degree of accuracy, how the brand will contribute to the company’s bottom line (described by Eriksen as “Moneyball for your brand”).
Eriksen’s background is in graphic design and he started his career as an Art Director in an advertising agency some 20 years ago. Since then he has worked in every business layer of marketing, advertising and communications, and has moved up over the years from Art Director to Creative Director, to Creative Strategist, and most recently Chief Innovation Officer. He has also owned and managed businesses, which has provided him with a mindset of an entrepreneur and a deep understanding of issues from the client side.
As Eriksen says: “What I have learned over the years is that I have a conceptual and strategic mind, with an extensive curiosity for human behaviour. I love to unlock the potential of consumer trends and to figure out what is hidden and what is not so obvious from the first glance; what are the drivers, the barriers, and how communication can influence and change behaviour with emotional and rational tactics.”
Martin Liu, COO and Publisher of LID Business media said, “We are really excited to be working with Arnt Eriksen on his first book and believe it will act as a vital business tool for all marketeers, brands and corporates looking to quantify their brand’s impact and value.”
The Brand You Economics is Arnt Eriksen’s first book and is scheduled for publication in Spring 2021 as one of LID’s highlight titles for the season.
