LID Publishing has partnered with EventLAB Conference, taking place in London on 23rd and 24th October. EventLAB was created by Hire Space, the UK’s favourite venue finding platform – we take venue inquiries for over 5000 venues, from approximately 50k professionals who are organizing events (predominantly corporates, professional services, tech, agencies, associations & brands).
What is EventLAB?
Last year Hirespace launched EventLAB – a programme of talks, discussions, and workshops designed to tackle the daily challenges in organizing business events, and to offer inspiration for putting on successful events that contribute to the wider business goals. Much of the content takes more of a macro level approach, looking outside of the events world for new insight, ways to advance in our field, and new innovations that might implicate best practice, processes or potential for growth.
You can view video clips of our events here. As well as our programme of annual events, we also host supporting online content, videos, and blogs, as well as the EventLAB Podcast. Speaker content is filmed and promoted to Hire Space’s audience of events professionals. You can view last year’s speakers to get an idea of the caliber of our programme.
What do attendees learn about? EventLAB content is primarily focused on the following themes:
- Marketing, Social Media & Branding
- Leadership, Professional Development & Wellbeing
- Current Affairs, Regulation & Compliance
- Engagement, Innovation & Technology
- Partnerships, Sponsorships & Sales
View the programme content for our flagship 2-day event, to view all topics to be covered.
How are LID Publishing involved?
This year, LID Publishing’s authors Ian Mills and Alan Williams will be hosting workshops for the attendees.
Ian Mills, the co-author of The Salesperson’s Secret Code, is hosting the workshop Storytelling Methods to Strengthen your Brand Positioning and Increase Sales (11.30am-12.30pm, 23rd October).
