LID Publishing would like to congratulate Sanyin Siang on being named one of LinkedIn’s Top Influencer Voices for 2017.
Sanyin is a CEO leadership coach, Author of The Launch Book, and the Executive Director of the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics at Duke University. She advises and works on fostering innovation cultures, building teams, and value creation.
Top Voices is LinkedIn’s annual list recognising the most engaging creators on LinkedIn. Every day over a million posts, videos and articles are posted on LinkedIn, generating tens of millions of shares and likes among professionals.
Each year, LinkedIn analyses the posts in its 530 million+ member community and identifies the top 10 in various categories. The Influencers are an invitation-only group of the world’s top thought-leaders, including CEOs, academics, and heads of state.
As one of the top 10 Influencers this third annual LinkedIn Top Voices list, Sanyin is among those in 2017 with the most engagements (inclusive of likes, comments, and shares) on her posts, growth of followers as the result of her publishing activity, and the number of times she has been featured in LinkedIn’s editorial channels.
Among her most popular posts are her #LaunchBookofChampions series. The series is based on a simple premise – The hero of every book, every story, every post, is the reader. It’s the reader who carves out the time to read, to reflect, to act on the insights. In the series, she showcases pictures or videos of readers from CEOs to athletes and students who are reading The Launch Book. The accompanying text reveals something inspirational about that reader reflects an insight in the book.
Explaining why she writes, Sanyin told us: “My hope for my writing and posts is that they inspire followers to discover their inner champions – their capabilities, their courage, and their generosity and recognise those in others. Through those insights, I give readers the tools to define what winning is for them and to keep on winning in career and in life.”
Sanyin says she will discuss “culture, innovation, and team-building,” in 2018.
Sanyin is also an Advisor with GV (formerly Google Ventures) and a faculty fellow with StoryLab at Duke University.
