First-time author Graham Hogg is taking the world of big data by storm with his new book, Seeing Around Corners: How to unlock the potential of big data. Released in November last year, and published in the US this week, Seeing Around Corners presents a new way of looking at data by connecting it to decision-making and leadership, creating a new paradigm which forges the way to helping develop products and services that can positively contribute to society.
Most recently Hogg’s new book has received a 5-star review from Reader’s Favourite, in which Seeing Around Corners is hailed as a “great” and “a business book you definitely need”. Read the full review here.
Graham Hogg began his career as a Royal Marines Officer specialising in intelligence, thereby beginning his experience with big data. Working with data in this way led him to the belief that building understanding in teams through the lens of an organisation’s purpose will lead to better decisions, and that the right synchronisation of experience and data is crucial to achieve this. In his book Graham draws on his unique military intelligence background and presents research, personal stories, and case studies.
