International Women’s Day Event
Work/life balance is one of the hottest topics being talked about today and affects everyone. It’s a delicate business getting the balance just right and getting it wrong can drastically affect one’s physical and mental health. International Women’s Day 2019 (8 March) theme is ‘Balance for Better’, a global message transcending all genders, classes, and boundaries, so now is the perfect time to come together and discover what we can all do to help create the perfect work/life balance.
Discussion topics will include: what #balanceforbetter means for different people, the myths about work/life balance, and how ‘Balance for Better’ can be better implemented in the workplace.
Proceeds will go towards The Eve Appeal, the only UK national charity raising awareness and funding research into gynaecological cancers. Ticket price also includes refreshments and nibbles, and there will also be book signings from the authors as well as the chance to purchase the panellist’s books at a special discount.

About the Panel
Christine Gouchault is an entrepreneur business consultant author and speakers. She is a mother of four and a successful business owner of Mors Business. She also provides workshops and seminars to help other mums develop their businesses and is a mentor to entrepreneur students. Christine is the author of Business Mum, which published in November 2018.
Sue Coyne is a successful transformational leadership and team coach, and the author of bestselling Stop Doing, Start Leading. She also contributed to Enabling Genius by Myles Downey, Leadership Team Coaching In Practice by Peter Hawkins, and Becoming A Transpersonal Leader by John Knights. As a business owner bringing up two young children, Sue lacked balance in her life. She was totally burnt out and at 43 she got breast cancer. She sold her business and decided to find a way to have a better balance in her life. Much of her work as a leadership coach is helping leaders, especially women leaders, to find that balance without having to have the wake-up call she had. Sue is the co-author of The Zone of Connection, which publishes on 28 March.
Nicole is a highly qualified coach, EQ practitioner and author with extensive commercial experience gained from 12 years leveraging large sales teams for Unilever and United Biscuits, followed by 14 years developing and delivering training programmes across the globe. In 2009 Nicole founded Diadem, the leading commercial skills training and coaching company with over 85 clients in more than 15 different countries. As a businesswoman and mumpreneur, Nicole is passionate about helping women develop their emotional intelligence so they can take their commercial skills to the next level and achieve the extraordinary. Nicole is the author of The Negotiation Book which published in 2017, and The Influence Book, which published in November 2018.
Mireille is the Company Chairman and franchise owner of 8 BoConcept stores in London and Greater London, including a concession in Harrods, employing over 100 employees, including sales and interior design teams, distribution centre, and all back office function teams. BoConcept opened in 2005. Mireille has been a working Mum and entrepreneur while raising her son. Over the years she has encouraged and guided women and mums in her inner circle to realise their dreams and success in creating their own businesses.
Danusia Malina-Derben (Moderator)
Danusia Malina-Derben is a lifelong entrepreneur and straight-talking consultant advising Boards and C-suite clients on their Strategic Leadership. She is the founder of School For Mothers (SFM) a change-making movement upending old narratives and practices that limit the potential of individual mothers and those collectively within businesses. Danusia also hosts the School for Mothers podcast featuring diverse women, all (in their own ways) seeking versions of freedom, as ambitious modern mothers. Danusia is also a keynote speaker, author & dynamic contributor on future C-level trends, cultivating women’s leadership and debates about women’s careers and family. She is a mother of ten including her “last baby’, triplets of six years old.
