The only constant of life is time. However, one’s perception of time changes and, consequently, it is important to create a sense of direction as well as to keep you with the times and live in the present. We have to be adaptable – without losing our sense of direction. We hear behind the Nine Squares methodology by Ole Bentzen found in his latest book Nine Squares.
A TOTALITY – A CONTEXT
The Nine Squares provide a picture of the totality and give a systematic overview. By combining the intentions of the Nine Squares, the Nine Squares will indicate a simple way in which to reach a given target. The NIne Squares form part o fa process where the attempt is to go from good to better to best. When you combine the Nine Squares, you will obtain the overview and the motivation needed to be good at what you do by creating calmness and a sense of direction.
TRAID
It is vital that you understand the three essential factors or rules of conduct needed to do this. these factors are as follows:
- Time
- Energy
- Being in financial control
TIME
Times are constantly changing, that is the only thing that we know for sure. When times change, customers and staff change. In fact, everything is changing. Now ids already in the past. It is about being ahead of time. if you do not keep up with the times, you will not be able to maintain your sense of direction or achieve results.
It is essential to understand the past, to learn from the past, to be in the present and reach for teh future. You must create the required space and calmness for this to happen. Creating a lifetime match means matching business’ managerial and staff skillsets with a given situation at a given time.
ENERGY – SEIZE THE CHALLENGE
The next factor is about energy, which is the investment made in order to achieve success. Use your time wisely and prioritize in accordance with this pattern:
- Use your energy and focus on learning, again and again – achieving additional competences.
- Use your energy and focus on development and inspiration.
- Use your energy and focus on being in balance both physically and mentally by means of presence – one thing at a time. This is quality time.
FINANCIAL CONTROL
Money talks, and being in financial control is a vital prerequisite for the correct use of energy. Make sure that you are good at keeping your business’ cash flow under control – this provides positive energy. It may well be expensive to be over-smart – this will not be visible in your balance sheet but in your quality of life.
- Control your cash flow
- Be in control of the speed of progress
About Nine Squares
Vision, value, growth, and well-branded acumen have, according to Ole Bentzen, never been more important than now, where digitalization sets the agenda in the world of business.
Nine Squares is a guidebook for leaders who wish to invest in their people as well as their customers. In order to succeed as a leader, creating calmness, having a sense of direction, communicating clearly, and getting the right results is the key to your energy. The combination of these four strengths makes the core message of this guidebook. This model may be able to assist managers and businesses in getting back on track, remain on track, or get ahead as a unique and innovative business with well-defined targets, vision, and brand.
