This month we are proud to be publishing a new book from Dalian Wanda founder and chairman, Wang Jianlin.

The Wanda Way: The Managerial Philosophy and Values of One of China’s Largest Companies, will be launching on 22nd February at the prestigious British Museum, with Wang Jianlin himself imparting his managerial wisdom and taking questions from an exclusive audience

Pedro Algorta is being introduced by Piers Paul Read, 10th March, Blackwell’s bookshop, High Holborn.

On October 13th 1972.An Uruguayan Air Force plane was lost without a trace in the Andes. Seventy days later the world was astonished to discover that sixteen of the forty-five passengers were still alive. Pedro Algorta, one of those sixteen, has never previously spoken of his
experience but now breaks his silence of over forty years to give a first-hand account of one of the most incredible stories of human survival.

LID Publishing launches LID Radio podcast

LID Publishing has released the first episode of its podcast series LID Radio. The episode features the author of the Storytelling Book Anthony "Tas" Tasgal and focuses on the art of Storytelling.
LID Publishing in China

LID Publishing was the hosting partner of MetaThink’s two-day Winter Seminar (“The Brand Story in the New Era – Enriching the Dialogue Between Businesses and People”) held in Shanghai. MetaThink, a leading branding and innovation consultancy, brought together over 100 senior marketing and branding professionals from China’s leading companies to explore and discuss branding in the new era and the importance of storytelling. LID author Anthony Tasgal (The Storytelling Book) provided one of the keynote speeches (“Beyond information and data – creating and communicating a brand story”) and LID General Manager Martin Liu spoke about “Publishing redefined” during the seminar.

Concise Advice Business Breakfast

LID Publishing and Waterstones Piccadilly are proud to announce that three Concise Advice authors will be doing masterclasses at Embertons in between January and April 2016.
Kevin Duncan, author of three Concise Advice titles ran a masterclass about solving problems with diagrams based on The Diagrams Book on the 29 January
Anthony Tasgal will be running a masterclass on how storytelling can enhance presentations based on his recently published title The Storytelling Book.
Simone Andersen will be running a masterclass on cognitive networking based on The Networking Book.
Each masterclass will cost £15 and will include a copy of the author’s book as well as coffee and croissants.

47% Of the jobs that exist today will disappear – Presentation of the book E-renew or die

On December 9 Silvia Leal presented in ESNE of Madrid, the title e-Renew or die. A book that explains 7 areas of technology are part of technological change and a more innovative mindset: augmented reality, gamification, drones, 3D printers, bioimpresión, Internet of Things and Big Data.

The writer was accompanied by four experts: Francisco Sebastian Rafael Madero, José Olalla and Sergio Garcia. Everyone shared favorable opinions about the Book Fair, because they believe that this issue affects the daily life of their companies.
