LID announces a major partnership with BW Businessworld

GLOBAL MEDIA GROUP STRIKES DEAL WITH INDIAN PUBLISHING LEADER

New Delhi, 9 May 2019

Global media group LID today signed a groundbreaking deal with Indian publishing leader BW Businessworld.

Under the partnership, LID and BW Businessworld will create a dual imprint to publish business books stemming from elite Indian thought-leaders, with a focus on essential topics such as digital transformation, global business development, leadership, management, branding and marketing.

India is a high-growth market for business books. LID boasts a large presence in world cities such as London, Shanghai, New York, Mexico City and Madrid. This concordat marks a leap in its global expansion into India – the world’s largest anglophone market.

LID shares knowledge throughout the global business world by communicating the ideas, image and talent of its corporate clients and authors through key media platforms. It works with an international community of more than 3,500 authors and thought-leaders, publishing 125 new book titles each year and three world-class business magazines with 1.6 million executive readers. It publishes content in English, Spanish and Chinese.

BW Businessworld is a business magazine with offices in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai. The magazine is published by the Exchange4Media group. The BW Businessworld portfolio comprises a raft of magazines and websites, including Pitch, Impact, Franchisee Plus, BW Smart Cities and Digital Market Asia.

The dual imprint will build on LID’s world-class media content, which includes books, magazines, audio, courses, speakers and events. The agreement with BW Businessworld marks LID’s first partnership with an Indian business media company.
