How the Zone of Connection has changed me | Belinda Peters

Belinda Peters has been working as an actress in Theatre, Television and Film for over fifteen years. She also works extensively in corporate Training and VoiceOver. Today, we hear how The Zone of Connection has changed her for the better.

1) When were you introduced to the concept of The Connection Practice and why did you need it?

The very first time was when Penny and Sue were first practising and ran a workshop for a group of people as an experiment and to collect feedback.  I remember feeling fully engaged and connected by the end of it and the enjoyment of being physical, using the imagination without too much intellectual explanation.

2) How has The Zone of Connection impacted you?

When I was at a creative retreat in Italy the morning sessions with Penny and Sue really helped to widen my experience and totally got me into my most open and expressive state for the rest of the day.  I noticed a marked difference before and after the exercises and as a group, we became very articulate and totally expanded.

3) Do you have any advice for those who are just about to start using The Connection Practice?

Really commit to your imagination, it is really powerful and will help you

to expand your mind so that you can fully take on the benefits of this creative practise and enjoy the focus and energy that it gives you.
