The Sky Is No Limit Wins Best Business Biography Book Award 2024

The Sky Is No Limit, written by seasoned entrepreneur and adventurer Per Wimmer and published by LID Publishing, was chosen as the best business biography (in the Business Journey category) at the Business Book Awards 2024.

The Business Book Awards Gala took place last evening, on 19^th September 2024, at The Drum Wembley in London. Per Wimmer’s autobiography was selected as the winner in its category among seven other shortlisted titles.

Per Wimmer says: “To receive the Business Journey Award at the Business Book Awards was humbling, emotional and surprising given the excellent shortlisted books. My hope is that my personal story will be a source of inspiration to people and especially children wanting to live out their dreams. Never give up, be persistent, dream big and reach for the stars. The Sky Is No Limit is the first volume in the autobiography of a person who one commentator described as “a true Indiana Jones meets 007 James Bond”. This first volume covers Per’s formative years, his growing fascination for adventure, travel and space, and the growth of his career in international finance, culminating in the founding of Wimmer Financial.

The second volume of Per’s autobiography is to be published by LID Publishing.

Another LID book, Mindful Command, written by leadership coach and former Royal Navy officer Sally-Anne Airey, won the Highly Commended Award in the Leadership Book Category.

Commenting from France, where she is currently running a leadership retreat, Sally-Anne says she was “delighted” to receive the award.

The award was accepted on Sally-Anne Airey’s behalf by LID Publishing’s Communications Manager, Teya Ucherdzhieva.
